The Middle Path Welcomes You To Our Sober "Thriving" Home.
Enjoy on-site support; Learn and Practice DBT Skills; Holistic Practices, Food and Nutrition Cooking; Book Club; Money Management Classes; a "She Shed", and we are within walking distance of an AA meeting group in West Ashley
OUR SERVICES

Individual on-site case management is provided informally by Peer Support Leaders. Formal case management may be arranged through Our Therapeutic Resources (see below)

Full-time, live-in Peer Leader

Mandatory weekly in-house meeting with DBT discussions
-
Two certified peer support specialists (Assistant Director and live-in support) provide 40 hours of support per calendar week; support is not constant
-
IOP-required PHP or IOP attendance, or recent attendance, is required
-
Holistic providers present one hour per week of a variety of therapy services, for example, crochet, Yin Yoga, Melt Yoga, sound therapy

Large back yard with a fire pit and a She-Shed for personal crafting, puzzles, and reading

Our home is within walking distance of a AA Clubhouse
WHO MAY LIVE AT THE TURTLEBACK HOME?

Women who have been accepted into an Intensive Outpatient program (IOP) in the Charleston area.
-
Women who have completed an IOP and would benefit from a structured environment.
-
Women who are looking for a structured home but do not want an inpatient setting.
-
Women from across the nation are with us.
